RBI has in its bi-monthly monetary policy today announced a fourth straight cut in its benchmark repo rate by 35 basis points. The announcement was made after the third bi-monthly policy review by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), led by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, for 2019-20.
