Xiaomi has been known to launch low-budget smartphones having amazing features like Qualcomm Snapdragon, battery life, RAM and internal storage and also commendable cameras. Xiaomi's flagship brands Redmi and Mi have some of the most preferred smartphones in India.
Manu Kumar Jain director at Xiaomi via his Twitter account revealed that , in second quarter of 2018 (Q22018), Xiaomi has now bagged a market share of 29.7% in India, continuing to outrun Samsung which stands at 23.9%, Vivo at 12.6% and Oppo at 7.6%. One out of 3 smartphones sold in India are Xiaomi devices.

Guess what! Jain also mentioned that, the company has recorded sales of 6 million smartphones in India alone in Diwali festival.
Xiaomi's Diwali festival continued from October 09 till November 08, under which, the company sold more than 8.5 million devices worth $1 billion in just one month.
Jain revealed that, out of the total sales, 6 million devices were smartphones, while more than 400,000 were Mi TVs and over 2.1 million were ecosystem products & accessories.

During the sale, Xiaomi had offered heavy discounts on latest launches like Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Y2, Mi A2, POCO F1 and Redmi 6 Pro among others.
Xiaomi had also launched its Re 1 flash sale offering Mi LED TV 4A PRO 123.2 cm (49), POCO F1, Mi A2, Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2, Redmi Note 5 Pro and even Mi Home Security Camera 360° at just Re 1.
Apart from that, there heavy cash back, coupons offered by SBI, Amazon Pay, Paytm and Mobikwik.
