Sanju box office collection opening weekend: Ranbir Kapoor starrer set to earn whopping Rs 43 cr

Sanju box office collection: Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, which released on Friday, 29th June, is the talk of the town after becoming the highest opening grosser of the year with massive collections. The Kapoor scion's film has already beaten Salman Khan’s Race 3 by a very big margin. As it was expected, audiences flocked to the theatres on Day 1 and by the end of the weekend, the numbers kept on increasing. According to trade analyst Girish Johar, Sanju collection opening weekend may hit a whopping Rs 43 crore, making it the highest weekend ever. This is a record for Hindi film ahead of Tiger Zinda Hai, but behind the epic Baahubali 2. 
 
Girish Johar tweeted, "a whopping 43ish cr (Very #EarlyTrends) on Sunday for #Sanju ...makes it the HIGHEST WEEKEND EVER, that too non-holiday, for a hindi film, ahead of #TigerZindaHai just behind #Baahubali2 #RanbirKapoor @SirPareshRawal @vickykaushal09 @RajkumarHirani @deespeak @AnushkaSharma." 
 
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted earlier that the film has continued its remarkable run on the BO even on 2nd Day, earning an impressive amount of Rs 38.60 cr. Sanju film now stands at a gigantic total of Rs.73.35 cr! The Rajkumar Hirani directorial is predicted to join the 100 cr club on Sunday itself. 
 
Sanju, the most-awaited biopic of Sanjay Dutt features Diya Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal and others.

Notably, Sanju collection is now threatening the records of all other movies. Ranbir Kapoor starrer may well break lifetime record of Aamir Khan starrer PK and thereafter even threaten the epic movie Baahubali! But before that happens, Sanju movie will have to receive a huge from word of mouth boost hereafter as the weekend is over and the working week has started.
